Global population numbers are on track to reach 7 billion in 2011, just 12 years after reaching 6 billion in 1999. Even with declining fertility rates in many countries, world population is growing at a rapid rate. Virtually all of that growth is in developing countries. On Aug. 12, PRB released its 2009 World Population Data Sheet. Here are some key findings:
* Africa's population has just passed 1 billion.
* About half the world lives in poverty.
* HIV prevalence now appears to be on the decline in Africa.
* The birth rate among U.S. teenagers is twice as high as the average for all developed countries.
The population of world day by day are increased.I've heard that 25% of Americans have at least one ancestor from Germany, and they are called the most prominent ethnic group in America. So I would assume Irish would be a little less than that. Maybe around 20% in America. The Africa's population are higher. The problem is birth rate.It is increasing day by day.It is out of control of all the developed countries.
World population is increase day by day. Currently I read in newspaper that Africa's population has just passed 1 billion. Most thing I noticed in every newspaper was given same news that is the birth rate among U.S. teenagers is twice as high average for all counties.
The projection for population growth in developing countries assumes that fertility in those countries will fall to the same low levels as in today's developed countries, around two children per woman. That is quite an assumption. Currently, the highest fertility rate is in Niger, 7.4 children per woman. The lowest rate is in Taiwan, 1.0 children per woman.
This one is also one Big Question for all the Country.Right now China is on the Position in population the after the India comes in that queue.
